The project involves the operation of a 4-star hotel under the management of Courtyard by Marriott in one of the most developed business districts of Moscow’s city centre, just 5 minutes from the railway station which provides direct and fast access to Domodedovo airport. The hotel was opened in 2011 and forms part of a mixed-use facility with A-class offices. It has 171 contemporary guest rooms and primarily targets business travellers.

Park Royal Palace Hotel Vienna is a project to develop an existing hotel facility in the centre of Vienna (hotel operator - Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts). This mixed-use property includes a 4-star hotel with 233 rooms, fully developed infrastructure and 10 fully serviced apartments.

Antognolla Luxury Resort and Residences involves the full-scale reconstruction of the mediaeval estate of Antognolla in the Italian region of Umbria into a luxury hotel and residential facility managed by an international operator. The project will include a 5-star hotel with 111 rooms, and more than 30 private residences.

  • Andrey has more than 17 years of international experience. He co-founded VIYM in 2006 and today runs both the private equity growth capital and real estate investment arms of the company, with overall responsibility for more than USD400 million AUM. He is an internationally experienced hotel operator, and successfully manages assets in a number of Russia's leading hotel, logistics and multi-use real estate projects. Prior to co-founding VIYM, Andrey led the development of the largest hotel in St. Petersburg "Pribaltiyskaya" and opened the first indoor water park in the city, the largest in Russia. He also worked in various financial consultancy roles at Rocco Forte's New Hotel Group, MCD-Pannell Kerr Forster and Europe Management-Invest. Andrey has a distinguished background in academia. He was previously an Associate Professor of Economics at St. Petersburg State University, holds a PhD in Finance & Credit from St. Petersburg State University, as well as an EMBA Global from London Business School and Columbia University GSB. Andrey seeks to develop the Private Equity industry in Russia, and is currently the Chair of the National Alternative Investment Management Association (NAIMA), a non-profit partnership representing leading alternative investment firm providers committed to the growth of long-term capital in Russia. The association’s current flagship project is an industry-wide endeavour to promote private equity and venture capital as an asset class in Russia.
  • Yair has more than 20 years of cumulative international experience in mining, oil & gas, commodity trading and CRE investments. He brings to VIYM his experience in capital markets and commercial property investment management in the OECD and in emerging markets. From 1993 to 2003, Yair served as a Director of Subsidiaries for Topland Group PLC, a major investment company in UK commercial property, with a portfolio valued at over GBP 2.5 billion. He has a degree in political science from Tel Aviv University and, after some further academic study and a period in the Israeli Foreign Office, he became the General Manager of Meridian Commodities, a group trading in bulk grains and foodstuffs. During his time at Meridian Commodities, Yair acquired expertise in international finance, banking and company administration. He currently serves on the BoD and is the CFO of Target Resources, a London AIM quoted diamond & gold mining company.
  • After graduating in financial engineering, Philippe started his career as an auditor before moving into the banking industry where he worked for more than 10 years, mainly with RBC-Dexia, Banque International in Luxembourg, and Rothschild. He joined Lemanik Group in 2007, as the Managing Director in charge of the Luxembourg office. Prior to Lemaik, Philippe worked for Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild Luxembourg, as the Business Relationship Manager for Southern Europe and Latin America, before becoming the Head of Business Development for Institutional Clients between 2003 and 2006. Since 1997 Philippe has been a part time lecturer at the IFBL (Institut de Formation Bancaire Luxembourg) and the ATTF (Agence de Transfert de Technologie Financière) in relation to ALFI, ABBL andLuxembourg University, teaching a range of subjects including fund industry, risk management and institutional asset management.
